Happy Late Halloween!!!

Well this is very very late to be posting pics of my little bugs Halloween costume, but, well i couldn't forget to put this up. I think shes pretty cute, and was way excited about it. She was a Lady bug this year, and i think she had a blast for her first Halloween! Trace was on call (luckily didn't get called in) so we had to stay close this year. We went trick or treating which was lost on Kenzie but she loved the attention and her candy has been yummy. She particularly enjoyed assisting in carving the pumpkins, which mostly included her trying to eat raw pumpkin. Well as for since Halloween not much else is going on, just normal life. Tomorrow is the JJcole sale, super excited! -hope its as good as last year!

We're still alive

So, I don't really take time to update this, that is why there's not much on here. However I decided to do a quick update, although my guess is nobody will really notice.

There has been a lot that has happened since the middle of Aug. The biggest thing is starting school again. The only good part about that is it is the last time I will be able to say that (knock on wood), at least for my undergrad. The worst part about being back in school is in between work, school, and church for myself and work for Aub we figure we see each other for a total of about 2 hours from Sat. afternoon until Friday evening, once again we have split custody of Kenzie. Aubrey gets her during the week and I get her on Fri., Sat., and Sun. afternoon and evenings. They say going to school is worth it, THEY BETTER BE RIGHT!!

The queen of the house started crawling, as you can see above, right after we got home from Bear Lake, thanks to seeing all the other kids she couldn't be left out. The crawling wasn't to bad however she has learned that she loves going up the stairs, I've even taught her how to come down (crawl up, the straighten you legs and body and slide down on you belly, she thinks that is the best part- oh the things parents never let you do growing up, we just have to teach our kids to do them and let them enjoy for us!). However there are something you don't want to teach you kids, What are we doing teaching bad habits like this?!?!

We also took a long weekend and headed up to the Cabin to relax and enjoy the mountain air, Kenzie enjoyed being up there, most of the time. The crib up there is a little different, I think she felt like she was in prison.

Summer Fun!!

Trace is out of school for the summer!!! I am so excited to have him around a little more. He only has 3 weeks off so we are trying to pack as much summer fun in as possible.
Last Week we went to Bear Lake with Trace's family. It was such a good time, boating and hanging out in the sun is our favorite thing to do! Kenzie absolutely loved it! She came home with lots of new tricks she learned from watching her cousins like, the army crawl, pulling self up on things, and she talks a lot more now too! She thought the other kids were so funny and they seemed to think she was alright too. Another great thing that happened on vacation is that Kenzie got more used to Trace, she doesn't scream so much when he is holding her and I'm not around! (She is such a mommys girl right now but this improvement makes everyone happier:))

My wife doesn't know how to use a computer!!!

So, we have recently decided that either Aubrey doesn't know how to use a computer or she just doesn't want to. She claims it's because she doesn't have time, ya whatever.

There has been a lot that has happened in the last few months here in our home. As for Kenzie she is getting huge. She is in 98% for height and 48% for weight, well she fits in her mom's family perfectly. She is generally a happy baby unless mom isn't around. I don't think I have ever seen such a mama's girl other than my wife, honestly. She has learned how to get up on to her hands and knees and rock back and forth however she can't crawl just yet. I am not looking forward to baby proofing our house.

Aubrey is still working in the ICU over at the hospital and I am now working in the OR at the hospital as well. Right now I am taking a genetics class and am planning on graduating next May. Hopefully all goes to plan and we can move either across the country or even internationally, (Oh how the grandma's would love that).

We sold Aubrey's car and got a bigger one so that she can go places with her friends and not have to drive seperatly, the 4-wheel drive and the tow package was my idea, now I can justify getting a dirt bike and get it around some how.

Hey everyone! Its been along time since we updated anything on the blog. Been thinking about it and I am officially taking over this blog site. (Trace has been doing it). Everyone else has such cute blog spots, and I think ours needs a little feminine touch (please be patient I'm still trying to figure this blogging thing out). We had a wonderful Valentines day Trace took me out for pizza at Fredrico's and gave me a card with a sweet note in it. Not much has really happened since the last post. Kenzie was blessed on Feb 1st. It was wonderful she looked beautiful, and we were happy to have so many family and friends there despite the long drive for most. Kenzie is so much fun, I cant believe how fast she is growing. Currently she is cooing more and more often, smiles lots, and loves her bath. Trace is really busy with school and studies all the time, but is doing well with such hard classes. I have enjoyed my time off from work with Kenzie, but unfortunately have to go back on Monday. I'm a little nervous it has been a long time!
